What is a limited (work) licence?
A Limited Licence is a court-approved licence that allows you to drive under strict conditions, including set hours, approved vehicles, routes, and purposes (usually work or essential commitments). It’s not a full licence, but a practical way to stay employed and support your family while serving your disqualification.
You may qualify if not driving would cause extreme hardship to you or undue hardship to others, such as losing your job, being unable to run your business, or caring for children or dependents. Eligibility is assessed under the Land Transport Act 1998.

For $900 (+gst) we handle the entire process for you. Initial instructions are taken over the phone or online application, then we prepare your application, affidavit, draft court order, and supporting documents. We liaise with police and file your application, helping you avoid delays and giving you the best chance of success. In most cases, you won’t need to appear in court. If you do, it’s usually a brief appearance where we will represent you, so you won’t need to speak. In some cases, a short stand-down period applies, but we can prepare everything in advance so your application is ready as soon as possible.
